The concept of urban homes may deal with limited land to create residential stay comfortable, even can be customized to the owner’s condition. There is limited land and high land prices in urban areas would provide little choice for the city to be able to have residential dreams. Land is limited to the ideals and hopes for significant spaces are spacious and comfortable in the shelter was impossible to achieve.

However, calm down. Such constraints can be solved with the right design concept. Houses that will be discussed this time is a reflection of urban housing conditions (urban). If the land is owned limited and the need for space was not balanced with the existing land area. Thus, the concept adopted is “vertical development” where residential development is done by increasing the number of vertical building floor.

If you are still status “single”, but with a land area measuring 4 m X 15 m, the desired house will also be able to accommodate as a small family dwelling. To accommodate this, the function of each room is designed to be multifunctional, where space is at this moment can change function in accordance with the needs in the future.

Private and Service Areas
Ground floor functioned as a public area, which consists of the pantry and living room are limited by the pond as an area for natural air into the room. The concept of space on the ground floor was left open without any partition or wall so that space with another one together and feel more spacious.
The top floor served as private and service areas. Area consists of private bedroom and study. Study area is multifunctional, which at the time homeowners later married and have families, so this space will serve as a child’s room. And at the time of the study changed the functions into the bedroom, study area can be moved into the corridor.

Furthermore, service area consists of drying area (clothing) and the warehouse. Warehouse space to the front can be served as a maid’s bedroom. External appearance of buildings in the design as simple as possible with the finishing materials to minimize exposure to the development fund, also with minimal maintenance costs.

Interior of the building is also designed to utilize the remaining construction materials, like bamboo for the buffer (Steger) which is used as a finishing wall, as well as a room accent. While the ceiling of the room on the ground floor is designed without plafond with nothing concrete to expose on the floor above, Finishing the walls and floors in several rooms also left natural, with color as a medium made to provide harmonization in each space.
